Around a Wedding

My brother Nathan and the lovely Marie-Camille were recently married in Ottawa. The two of them planned a beautiful wedding, as well as some great family outings. I arrived home with very few actual wedding photos; I guess i was swept up in the flurry of events that day (also, nervous about my speech). Congratulations Nathan and MC!

Yukon

Early in September, Rhoda and I headed north to visit Whitehorse, Yukon. We were greeted by a crew of my Aunts and Uncles - longtime Yukoners - who were our generous hosts and guides! I hope we'll be back soon.

St. Albert Gazette

I first started working for the Gazette in 2005, when I finished photo school. 9 years later I still cover the odd photo shift. There is a lot of enterprising there, meaning you go out and try to find interesting pictures without having any specific assignment. Here are a few examples from last weekend.

Tom Mulcair

In March, I covered a visit from the Leader of the Official Opposition. I was impressed by how Mulcair took time to listen to each individual who wanted to speak with him. Nobody was hurried or rushed along.
