While the 2018 Women's March took place in Parade Square, a smaller group cut through the crowd and marched down Barrington Street to Cornwallis Park. The intersectional Walking the Talk rally was organized to highlight voices some felt were excluded from the larger feminist rally, including people who are transgender, two-spirit, Indigenous, black, women of colour, and queer.
