On a recent roadtrip, Rhoda and I came across this Ukrainian Catholic church off a secondary highway, northwest of Camrose. Exultation of the Holy Cross was built in 1921. It seemed the congregation was no longer meeting there; we waded through knee-deep drifts to reach the building. Maybe they relocate to a warmer building in the winter? Regardless, the church exterior appears to be lovingly maintained. These buildings have a simple beauty in their construction.
